Five kilos of the same A+ grade Himalayan apples our adopting families receive — picked at 7,000 ft in Tons Valley and couriered straight to your door. Taste first. Decide later.
“Most people have never eaten an apple that was on a tree seventy-two hours ago. This crate exists to fix that.”
Dev & Remona Rana · Kotgaon, Tons Valley
One crate. One purpose. No fillers, no sample sachets — just the apples themselves, graded and packed the way we pack them for our own families.
Royal Delicious and Golden variants, hand-graded at the orchard. Deep colour, dense flesh, and the sharp-sweet snap that only comes from a slow high-altitude ripening. The identical grade that sells for ₹350–400 a kilo in metro premium stores.
Each apple individually sleeved in a foam net, laid in a corrugated tray, and sealed in a rigid crate built to survive the mountain road. Packed within twenty-four hours of picking — never cold-stored, never waxed.
Dispatched from Tons Valley with a tracking number sent to you on WhatsApp. Metro deliveries typically land in three to four days; remote pin codes in five to six. Shipping is on us.
No adopted tree, no engraved nameplate, and no monthly orchard videos. Those belong to our adoption packages. The Taster's Crate is deliberately just the fruit — so you can judge us on the one thing that matters before committing to a season.
We publish our own numbers. Here is what the crate is worth at honest retail, and what you pay us direct.

Sending five kilos from a Himalayan village is not cheap, and at ₹2,499 we do not make money on this crate. That is deliberate. The Taster's Crate exists to get our apples into your hands once, on the assumption that the fruit will do the arguing for us.
Bruised or damaged on arrival? Send us a photo on WhatsApp within 48 hours and we replace the crate, free.
If the fruit wins you over, adopting a tree next season is the natural next step — and we would rather you arrived as a returning family than a new customer. Keep your order ID; mention it on WhatsApp when you adopt, and ₹499 comes off any adoption package as a welcome gift.
₹499 welcome gift, valid once, on the next subscription cycle (1 September – 31 August). Not redeemable for cash.
Payment is handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.

No — and that is deliberate. The Taster's Crate is fruit only: no adopted tree, no engraved nameplate, no monthly orchard videos. It exists so you can taste our apples before committing to a full season. If you want a tree of your own, start with The Harvest Box at ₹9,999.
Apples ripen on our slope between July and August, and every crate is packed within 24 hours of picking. Whenever you order, dispatch happens in that harvest window — we do not cold-store fruit to ship it out of season. Metro pin codes usually receive in 3–4 days after dispatch, remote pin codes in 5–6. Your tracking number arrives on WhatsApp.
Keep the order ID from your payment confirmation. When you adopt a tree in the next subscription cycle (1 September – 31 August), send us that ID on WhatsApp and we take ₹499 off your package price as a welcome gift. It applies to any of the three adoption tiers, is valid for one adoption, and is not redeemable for cash.
Photograph the crate as you open it and send the photos to us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery. If the fruit is damaged in transit we replace the entire crate at our cost — no arguments, no partial credits. This is a family orchard and our reputation travels faster than our couriers do.
Royal Delicious and Golden Delicious, grown at roughly 7,000 ft in Tons Valley, Uttarakhand. The exact mix depends on what is ripe the week your crate is packed. All fruit is A+ grade — the same grade that goes into our adoption boxes, and the same grade metro premium stores retail at ₹350–400 per kilo. Nothing is waxed and nothing is chemically ripened.
Yes to both. For multiple crates or a different delivery address, complete one payment here and then tell us the details on WhatsApp — we will adjust the order and send a top-up link if needed. For gifting we include a handwritten note from the orchard at no extra charge. Corporate and bulk orders are best discussed directly on WhatsApp.
